Extremely Disappointed – Misled and Ignored for Months I switched to Verizon after meeting with Ahmen, who reviewed my AT&T bill and explicitly told me I’d receive a gift card within 30 days to cover the phone payoff balances as part of a switch promotion. I relied on that information when moving my service over. Months later, no gift card has ever arrived, and Verizon now says they only cover early termination fees — not phone payoff amounts — even though that’s not what was represented at the time of sale. To make matters worse, AT&T has now sent my balance to collections, and I’ve been waiting months for any kind of management response. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I’ve tried to do the right thing by providing documentation and giving Verizon ample time to resolve it, but there’s been zero accountability or follow-up. I’d strongly caution anyone considering switching to get every promise in writing before signing anything. I still hope Verizon leadership will review this situation and make things right — but so far, the lack of response has been unacceptable.

Filing litigation due to this story, aligned with several complaints from the 1star reviews. If anyone else reading this has had this experience, look me up on Facebook. I have some meetings to talk retainers with attorneys, there's power in numbers, and I believe this place can be held accountable. We deserve transparency, especially when it comes to our phone plans that have become such a lifeline in this time. This place is actually a scam, if they offer you credits it's likely you won't ever get them. Please go to a corporate Verizon store, not a third-party retailer. Especially this one. I am starting a new business. I was promised $2500 of credits upon signing, which I was told would be applied immediately when I was very upfront that I was counting on them for the way I was budgeting my startup. They also put my old phone number and an invalid email address as my account contact info, so I was not receiving notifications that the bill was not being paid. After 45 days we were left without service. We drove an hour and a half to try and resolve the issue, where we were told that the credits can suddenly take up to 90 days to apply but "they're posted", they said that a manager would be at a different location the next day, with instructions if we would like to meet him there. An hour and a half drive the next day, turns out they had purposely sent us to the wrong location, and when we went back to the original location they literally hid in the back. I watched them do this to several customers. By the time I left that day, there were several customers yelling trying to find their credits, and I was at my wits end myself. They also did not even help me access my account, I spent an entire week with Verizon I.T. fixing their error so I could even access my bill. We were without service for 2 weeks, which interrupted my business and personal life. My partner was left in tears and it threw her into a depression for weeks. We have had to sacrifice our health insurance, therapy services (while she was depressed and going through crisis), and sell our car because it has been over 4 months now and this still isnt resolved. I am still skipping meals often, and having to choose between this bill and others, which is hurting my credit significantly. I tried to call the regional manager a week ago to see where these credits are, and have only received avoidant behavior over the phone. I am a normal person who doesn't make a scene with staff or act entitled, and who hates the thought of a lawsuit. I am good with personal finance, I don't spend more than I have, and I had a plan for my business that got completely derailed over this. My personal life has taken a huge hit as well. I'm baffled and disgusted by this. Forget unprofessional, this has been nearly inhuman and completely uncompassionate treatment. For those of you considering services here, just don't. For those of you who have received bad service to this degree and feels the only thing they can do is write a review, DM me.

My wife and I visited this location twice to upgrade our Pixels. I'll take a little blame here because I should have checked to make sure this was a corporate store - it's not. The first visit, we worked with two salesmen, and our experience was marred by one of them being extremely condescending and making me feel idiotic for not being able to follow his confusing explanation of the new plan we were switching to. Despite that, we decided to proceed with the upgrade, in part because we had already paid off our old phones and were told the phone payoff was non-refundable. Fair enough and again, my bad for not clarifying beforehand. The visit ended on an ok note and they ordered the Pixel in the color my wife wanted, so we needed to come back later to do the swap. The second visit, the condescending salesman wasn't there, and we started with another salesman who hadn't been there the first time. He was unfamiliar with some of the things we'd been told during the first visit and there was some confusion over the pricing we'd been told previously ("oh, well the bill might be higher for a month or two until the credit kicks in" or something like that, despite me having been previously told that we would be saving money). Eventually the second salesman from our first visit took over the process and began transferring data from my wife's old phone to her new one. By the time that was finished, we'd been there about an hour. Following this he began to set up/transfer the data on my phone and had difficulty doing so. During this process, which took an additional HOUR AND A HALF, he went next door to pick up dinner for himself while we sat there. After the ninety minutes he finally decided to ask the other salesman if he had any thoughts at which point they decided my phone didn't have enough charge to complete the transfer. The end result is that I paid a $60 set-up fee (which, of course, I was also told was non-refundable) to...not have my phone set up correctly, and also to waste me and my wife's entire evening. I eventually got home and transferred the data myself in about 15 minutes. I would highly recommend to anyone that they check that whatever store they are visiting is a Verizon corporate store and not a third-party retailer, as the level of service at this location seems far below what should be expected.
