I was just at this Best Buy tonight ready to slap down 1000+ dollars to purchase an 85 inch QLED Samsung TV. I looked for the model I had seen advertised to be on a little sale pre black Friday and couldn't find it. So i was comparing other QLED TV's that i had seen displayed to replace my current 75 Inch TV. Out of Nowhere a Best Buy Employee asked if I had questions which i was surprised they had not asked earlier as everyone knows best buy employee's generally are on the ball asking people if they need assistance. I asked him where I could find a QLED Samsung and he points directly at the NEO QLED/OLED Samsung array display with the most expensive TV's they sell. (Which are all mini LED, and OLED, not the regular QLED - Quantom Dot 2180p - Samsung has marketed for years as they're different than the higher qualities are thus, more affordable) OLED's and Mini LED's are the most expensive because they're the highest quality which is WHY they have those displayed. I looked at the mustached man and said.... Those are mini LED's and he said "QLED is same across and these are all QLED TV's across the board in a very pretentious tone" as if I was making an outrageous claim. I said "Well, these are OLED mini, and Neo LED" Instead of saying "Oooooh, regular QLED" He got even more pretentious and said "Those are all the same, they're all QLED" as if we were having a TV knowledge off and not him trying to actually help me find the TV I wanted. I immediately told him I had no more questions and left Promptly because he clearly had an attitude. I guess if I make a purchase ill have to go out of town to perhaps Greeley or Loveland come in the morning when its not his shift. I went there with a lot of knowledge after researching (As a 35 year old NERD who grew up in the 90's) and he basically tried to treat me like someone who didn't know what they were talking about when I was trying to make a good purchase that night. It was the most terrible and bizarre interaction I've ever had with a best buy employee. I've purchased over 3000$ worth of merchandise from this best buy in the last few years and never had this issue. Wouldn't recommend.

Bought a large flatscreen in the store. I was going to take it home vs delivery, except for the difficulty of installation. So I paid extra to get the delivery and install. They delivered it today (5 days after purchase) and when they got here they said they were never trained how to install so won't be able to do it. Rather than have them take back the TV and cancel the whole thing, I had them leave the TV and I contacted Best Buy to get install folks. Even though I called the local store, they routed me to some guy in South Asia that barely speaks English and appeared to be fighting with his wife while dealing with me. He said he'd have to charge me again for the installation to set it up for next week. I asked why as I'd already paid for it originally. He said it was the only way they can do it, but that they might be able to refund the prior one as well. I asked if it would be same cost and the guy was like "well, it pobably won't cost much difference" I told him I did not want to pay more than I already had and he kept dodging around the subject. Then he was talking about sending me some sort of link to wire him the money to pay for it. I hung up and called store again. This time I got the store (I assume) and asked for the sales rep but they had no record of him.

Two things 1. Don’t waste to time coming in to look for something you found online, they don’t stock even a fraction of what’s on their website, just order online 2. Had to speak to 5 different people to have not one simple question answered. One lady I spoke to told me it would be a long wait to speak with someone else because everyone was preoccupied. Immediately after I found a worker doing absolutely nothing, having been walking in literal circles. There were at least 20 employees on the floor, half of which were either standing or walking around, seemingly as to avoid work. The next blockbuster. I’m surprised a corporation as big as bestbuy would employ so many people to stand and look pretty

I ordered a product online for next day delivery. Well my phone rang for an emergency call for the next day and I drove to the store to pick up my item instead. They refused to give me my item I paid for even showing proof of purchase while the item was still at the store. To many excuses on why they can't. Now I'm forced to leave a $500 item at my front door for anyone to see. I didn't need to purchase from Best buy.. I figured I support the last brick and mortar electronic store left. I'll never be purchasing from them again. Amazon has better customer support.

Best Buy does not want you to buy simple stuff. Came to buy a Cat6 Ethernet cable. Can't just pay and go. No checkout open - when you want to pay you are directed to the long line of Customer Service both (you probably know what I mean - carts with returns, complaints). Slow, slow, slow. Probably a brillant idea of a marketing folk to "increase customer intimacy" or sell us more stuff (warranties?). Was going to go to Office Depot instead after complaining to the store host when she called one of the employees to open a checkout line (thank you!). Why doing simple when we can make it complicated. Reminds me of another brillant idea of Best Buy years ago when you could not pay anything at the cashier without being harrassed with proposal to subscribe to magazines... I like the store but come on…My my.
