My mom took my cat because I needed a break from work and life. Apparently, that was a mistake. Last year's exam: clean bill of health for my girl. This year's exam: periodontal disease and needs a $2200 tooth extraction. Different doctors, and I will be seeking an answer as to why Dr. Oberman said my cat was fine and Dr. Crawford disagrees. Pet insurance is great, I have it, but it reimburses you and no one has $2 grand just on hand for a pet emergency, not when they have bills, rent, and a vehicle. I will be taking her elsewhere if it turns out she needs the extraction and I probably will be changing over vets because this is ridiculous. They also, that I can tell, do not upload their notes into the portal so you can even see how/why the doctors may have reached different conclusions. Maybe I am picky... but that was Espresso's last visit there.
