They acted like I was crazy, then I showed up one online, and they said "oh we dont carry those" what kind of electronics store doesnt carry something so basic.

Yep, because 30 seconds ago when I was an aisle over, a different associate just asked me the same exact question. 5 people greet you in the first 3 steps.
