    My wife and I went in today after making an appointment to upgrade our phones, easy enough you would think. I've been in IT for about 30 years, so I research any technology I'm going to invest in, always. We get to the store, receive prompt service and then the condescending, up-sales and medium to hard closing started. I don't know if they are on commission or if the store is but holy cow, it was relentless. First tried to sell us a different phone than what we have decided on, because they had them in stock, up sale services, bundles...even tried to get us to sign up for a Verizon credit card. If you have someone in or around your life that can help you with technology, use that resource and take care of it online where you can skip the condescension altogether. Our salesperson, or agent or whatever they are called was done with us once we denied all the up sales and BS, couldn't get us out of there fast enough. And the floor manager or whatever they're called checked in to see if she was able to "help" us properly....if she able to get us into something more to their liking. If you can, just skip the headache and do everything online, I will from now on.

    I visited the Verizon store seeking help unlocking an iPad that has not been used on Verizon for over a year. Dillon was sympathetic and made an heroic effort to help. Ultimately we couldn’t surmount the Verizon roadblocks, but I am grateful for Dillon and think he’s a credit to the company.

    I recently came in and had Amanda sell me a new phone and in the process also sold me on the new Verizon Wi-Fi. She was incredibly helpful with overviewing my bill and educating me on all the benefits that I wasn’t aware of from my past experiences with other Verizon stores. She’s one of the most helpful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I will continue to drive to this store even if it’s out-of-the-way. Her service was phenomenal and will recommend this location to others because of her.

    I spent over 3 hours in the store trying to transfer data from my old phone to my new one. The staff I worked with were patient and kind, but unfortunately, the female manager was disengaged — sitting at a table scrolling on her phone and not assisting customers or staff. She admitted that they are not trained to troubleshoot and are mainly salespeople with very limited technical knowledge. She advised me to go to the UBreakIFix location, saying they had the right cable for a seamless phone-to-phone transfer (though it would cost extra). When I arrived, they had no such cable or capability, and instead began Googling on their personal phone to figure out what to do. They could not help me. Out of frustration, I went to the Apple Store at Park Meadows Mall. To my surprise, they were able to transfer all my data in just 25 minutes. Problem solved! Lesson learned: if you have an iPhone, go straight to the Apple Store. They can handle everything, and you’ll get the same deals you’d find with Verizon. Ask for Dom at the Park Meadows location — he was knowledgeable, efficient, and brilliant to work with.
