  I found Andy through a google search and being a huge review reader...I scoured through his reviews like a private investigator. Two things stood out in the majority of his reviews....his knowledge and the rapport he builds with his clients. We had a situation where I was a little stressed to get a new security camera system installed fairly quickly. Andy was quick to respond and came out and spent a lot of time with me listening to my concerns and explaining what he felt would be in our best interest. I had also just gotten a new puppy and Andy hopped out of his truck with a bag of dog treats and treated my new puppy like it was his own! I have a small zoo at my house so the added bonus of Andy being awesome with all of them made things even better! We decided on a Reolink system. Andy was very diligent about searching for the best price which we most certainly appreciated. Andy and his team had us up and running in one day. I have an old house so accessing the attic to run cable was less than ideal but these guys worked hard. Andy even solved the mystery of why my front bedrooms were always freezing. He had to access parts of the attic that no one else gets to and discovered there was zero insulation! Andy also helped me fix my kids complaints that their gaming consoles were too slow! I consider myself more tech saavy than most but a brand new system was overwhelming. Andy took time to explain it all to me and show me how it all worked. We had a few hiccups with our floodlight camera and Andy was always available by text and phone to help me troubleshoot. When basic troubleshooting wasn't helping Andy made a few follow up trips and ended up back in that pesky attic area. He switched out to a different camera model and it is now working perfectly! I now look for reasons to have Andy come back out and am already planning my next electronic upgrade! Andy is extremely knowledgeable...takes away the stress that electronics cause the majority of people and is just fun to talk with! I really appreciate the friendship and trust that he builds with the entire family from adults to kids to pets!!!

  Update 02/18/2025: Andy’s team reached out and they took care of the incomplete track cap today. They were very apologetic and indicated they had some extenuating circumstances that prevented them from finishing the project/communicating their delays. Andy also dropped off a Govee gift, which was a nice apologetic gesture. Bumping up to a 3-star review based on my original experience and communication early in the project. Had communication not lapsed for so long, I’d have given them a 5-star. Original Review: This will be a long review, because I want to provide context for my rating. I’ll start by saying from the beginning Andy was extremely responsive and helpful. So much so that I didn’t even look for another installer, and signed him up to start almost right away. He continued his responsiveness into installation and even the following weeks as they were not quite able to finish my project and needed to come back. Fast forward three months after my project started and the caps on the light enclosure are still not installed, and are about 40 feet in the air, so I don’t want to do them myself (never mind that I paid ElectroGizmo to install it). When he came back to install them in early December, he left without telling me, so I texted him and he said his ladder broke and he’d have his guys come back the following week. I have not heard back from them since. I’ve sent numerous text messages, emails, phone calls, voicemails, and Facebook messages (one of which I can see they read). I even reached out to the track material provider to see if they had heard from him recently (they had). The other day, the lower section of my lights stopped working. I assumed because I could not get a hold of him for the other item, that he would not respond for this. Through some Google searches, I found that they used the wrong wire when they spliced two sections of lighting, so I just purchased higher gauge wire and fixed it myself. Additionally, they left wire and metal scraps all over the place that I had to clean up, they left abandoned wire stapled to my ceiling in my garage that they said they’d remove, they pulled my bike down to drill a hole for a wire and left it on the ground, and used my ladder in the back yard and didn’t put it away. I’m not usually one to review, and I had a hard time putting a one star when they did such a good job on initial install. But I feel the need to tell people to be weary and make sure you do not pay before the job is 100% complete (construction 101, so that part’s on me).

  Andy was amazing to work with, he quickly turned around our quote and got our permanent lights all set up for us! I never thought we could’ve afford permanent lights because other major companies were quoting us well over $15,000 for a small area electric Gizmo is affordable and reliable! I’m really looking forward to showing off my spirit all year long for all seasons and holidays. Was also really happy that my husband didn’t risk getting hurt like he does every year getting on the roof to set up our Christmas lights and take them down only a few weeks later! I highly recommend taking the step to add some outdoor jewelry to your house.

  If you are going to invest the money into permanent outdoor lights, you don't want to have them installed by somebody that has no idea what they are doing. That is why I decided to search for the best installer I could find, and that was Andy with ElectroGizmo. He and his team have done hundreds of permanent light installations, and it shows. He made all the recommendations for the best installation possible and he delivered. I love the results and will for years to come.

  Andy at ElectroGizmo was wonderful to work with. We’d been dealing with our frustrating WiFi setup in our house for years, and finally decided to hire a professional, and I wish we’d done it sooner. He responded quickly, was very professional and set us up with a great network on every floor of our house. We would recommend him to anyone.
