Salesperson Eliana S. posted unauthorized charges to my credit card — flat-out fraud. When I came back with the invoice in hand and asked for a simple refund, she refused, doubled down on the nonsense, and then — unbelievably — called the police on me for asking to reverse an illegal charge. The officers showed up, took one look at the situation, didn’t even bother asking for my ID, and apologized on behalf of the universe for the salesperson’s behavior. They were clearly embarrassed that they were even called. I walked out, called Verizon corporate, and guess what? They apologized too — because Russell Cellular is a third-party clown show — and immediately issued a full refund and compensation. That’s how clear-cut this mess was. But the damage was done. The experience was so astonishingly unprofessional that I’m done with Verizon entirely. I’ve moved to AT&T purely to avoid ever dealing with scammers like Eliana S. or another Russell Cellular store again. If this is how they treat customers, run. Don’t walk. Run.
