The antiquarian bookshop Peter Bichsel FINE BOOKS was founded in the fall of 2003 by Dr. phil. I Peter Bichsel. The firm buys and sells beautiful and rare books from the 15th to the 21st centuries, with a focus on literature, intellectual history, illustrated books, manuscripts, and autographs, and sees itself as a personal and knowledgeable partner to both private and institutional collectors. The focus is on important, unique, and well-preserved individual items. In March 2017, Peter Bichsel FINE BOOKS opened the retail store at Oberdorfstrasse 10 in Zurich. We would be happy to advise you on building your collection or provide appraisals. Peter Bichsel FINE BOOKS is a member of the Association of Antiquarian Booksellers and Engravers in Switzerland (VEBUKU) as well as the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB) and regularly participates in the Zurich Antiquarian Book Fair and the Salon International du Livre Ancien in Paris.
