  The restaurant is hidden behind the large church in the Old Town area. It can be easy to miss if you don't know it's there. I was lucky enough to get a table without booking. The downstairs area was full, but they were able to accommodate me upstairs, which got full after I was seated. The menu is decently sized with a range of different items including fondue and grilled meats. I wanted to try a few things so I went with the mixed grill to try a few different meats. The fried potatoes are fries. The meats were very juicy and tasty. It came with the carb of choice as well as a grill tomato, spinach and grilled artichoke on the side. It also came with a fairly large serving of very nice herb butter. I also got a Gaby Iglu for dessert. It was a chocolate-covered ice cream which was flambeed. It was a feast for the eyes since they flambeed at the table, and it kept going until the chocolate melted, creating a very tasty sauce. It was a very tasty meal and a nice option in Zermatt.

  Wir waren heute für ein Fondue Chinoise im Chez Gabi. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und freuten uns auf das Essen. Nach einigem Missverständnis bezüglich Fondue Chinoise und Fondue Bourguignonne entschieden wir uns einfacher halber für ein Fondue Chinoise, denn ein klassisches Fondue Bourguignonne gibt es bei Chez Gabi nicht. Dies wusste uns die Service-Frau mit dem Namen "V" nicht zu erklären. Sie war klar wahrnehmbar nicht mit Freundlichkeit gesegnet oder hat es nicht mit der Muttermilch aufgesogen. Ansonsten muss ich hervorheben, dass das Essen und die Saucen exzellent waren. Leider mit fadem Beigeschmack des schlechten Services.

  Echt top tent. Hadden Chinese fondue. Vlees was echt super mals en vers. Een briljantje.

  Sono stata con i miei genitori che sono venuti a trovarmi qui a Zermatt, il ristorante in sé è bellissimo da sedere. Purtroppo la ragazza che ci ha servito era molto svogliata, non sorrideva faceva e basta. Sono del settore e quindi mi ha molto dispiaciuto Il cibo era okay, la carta molto grande ma ci hanno servito la carne (bistecca ) già tagliata, credo per vedere se la cottura era giusta e la pasta era molto asciutta C’era una signora un po più anziana che era molto gentile e ci ha salutati cordialmente, peccato che non ci ha servito lei credo che sarebbe stato molto diverso
