My Story Cake design entered my life long before my career change. In 2012, for my youngest son’s 4th birthday, I ordered a Smurfs-themed cake. It was shaped like a mushroom, with characters sculpted in fondant. I still remember my sense of admiration. I was fascinated by the precision and creativity. That day, something awakened in me. I have always had an artistic side. Drawing, the world of manga, interior design… creating has always come naturally to me. I started making cakes for my family, neighbors, and colleagues. The response was very positive. Then life went back to its usual pace. It was during my recovery that cake design returned to my life. It became a form of therapy. A space where I could rebuild myself. I trained. I refined my techniques. I structured my recipes. I sought the perfect balance between aesthetics and flavor. And that’s how Jour J Gâteau was born. My Vision I don’t create in bulk. I feel, I observe, I listen. My approach is both intuitive and strategic. I capture the essence of an event and translate it into textures, volumes, and clean lines.
