The practice was founded in Mendrisio in Via Motta, back in 1939 by dentist Dr. Carlo Bächtold.
Over the years, the practice moved to Via Lavizzari 21 in Mendrisio, a more modern and spacious location, where it continued to consolidate its business and its presence in the region.
In 1974, he began collaborating with his son, dentist Dr. Enrico Bächtold, who subsequently took over the practice, continuing the professional path and family tradition.
In 2010, Dr. Alessandro Perucchi joined the team as a dental assistant. Two years later, in 2012, he took over the practice and became its owner. Around the same time, Dr. Enrico Bächtold decided to retire from his professional career to pursue his hobbies.
In 2020, Dr. Cristian Scognamiglio joined the team as a dental assistant. After five years of collaboration and professional growth alongside Dr. Alessandro Perucchi, Dr. Scognamiglio became co-owner of the practice in 2026.
Today, the practice continues its journey with a new generation of professionals, maintaining the values that have characterized its history: professionalism, expertise, patient care, and continuity. Excellence, Innovation, and Patient Care.
