Region Olten Tourismus

The Region Olten Tourism Association was founded in 1983. Since 2010, it has been running a modern tourist centre at Frohburgstrasse 1, a two-minute walk from Olten railway station, which is open from Monday to Friday. Region Olten Tourism is committed to the development, marketing and positioning of tourism offerings, primarily for the three districts of Olten, Gösgen and Gäu, and serves as a central point of contact. The association has 250 members from all relevant sectors. In 2016, the Swiss Writers’ Trail was launched, creating a tourist attraction recognised throughout the industry as a unique selling point. Audio tours at over 70 listening points allow visitors to enjoy stories and songs by more than 20 authors.
