Surrounding The area around lake Murten does not only offer amazing sights and panoramic views but as well activities for anyone! In summer, the medieval town of Murten offers marvelous views of the arcades and many possibilities for walks and maybe stopping by one of the many cafés and enjoy a piece of the famous Vully cake. The beautiful nature all around Lake Murten and the vineyards of the Vully region, where the Chasselas grapes grow on nearly 72ha, are the perfect spot to go for a hike. The lake side offers great spots for sunbathing and having a refreshing ice cream. Families enjoy particularly the minigolf, the indoor and outdoor pool as well as the historic sites and the huge outdoor playing area, just a few steps away of the hotel. The open air cinema at the ramparts walls, the Wake +Jam wakeboard contest and the Stars of Sounds concerts with world famous artists are attracting each summer many guests. Famous as well are the Murten classics or the Opera in the roman city of Avenches.We do offer special packages and arrangements for these events.
