The company was founded in 1933 by Robert Nicolet in a shed in the center of the village of Cheiry. It was in 1947 that the company moved into its current premises. Active in Broye Friborg in the fields of carpentry, wood framing, renovation, roofing and carpentry, Nicolet Charpente SA remains a family business. Indeed, since its creation, 3 generations have succeeded one another at its management. First Robert, then Roger in 1978 and Régis in 2014, holder of the federal foreman certificate. The company currently has 6 employees as well as an apprentice. Throughout all these years the motto has remained the same: guaranteeing quality work and establishing a climate of trust with clients and architects.
