Blood donation appointments Blood Donation Northwestern Switzerland is a non-profit foundation and a member of the Swiss Red Cross Blood Donation Service. On behalf of the federal government, we are responsible for supplying healthcare facilities with blood products. For this purpose, we operate a blood donation center in downtown Basel as well as a collection site at the Cantonal Hospital in Liestal. In addition, we regularly conduct mobile blood donation drives in local communities. We produce the blood products at our center and run an immunohematology laboratory accredited by SAS. The donated blood is used to treat people who have suffered severe blood loss due to accidents or surgeries. It is also essential in the treatment of cancer, leukemia, and other illnesses. In our region, about 50% of the required blood units are missing. To cover the full demand, we must purchase additional blood products from other parts of Switzerland.     Sehr gutes Vorgespräch und das Team ist sehr akkurat mit den Fragen. Dadurch gab es vom ersten Moment ein Vertrauen. Die Mitarbeiter kümmern sich um de Spender und die Blutabnahme geht in 10 Minuten von statten.

    Blut gespendet, ging 10 min. Alles tip top. Fühle mich gleich wie zuvor, bin ohne Probleme oder "Nebenwirkungen" mit dem Velo nach Hause gefahren.

    Super freundlich, man fühlt sich nicht fremd , man wird so Herzlich empfangen und es wird einem alles erklärt,Fragen genau beantwortet. Kaum war man an der Nadel😉 ist man auch schon fertig👍😃 tolles Team 🥰

    Ich habe das erste Mal gespendet und es waren alle super freundlich und fürsorglich. Ich war wirklich positiv überrascht. Mein Wohlbefinden stand an oberster Stelle. Mit Snacks und Getränke wurde mein Kreislauf im Schuss gehalten :) das Personal war so freundlich und hat sich Zeit für mich genommen. Ich hoffe ich sehe sie beil nächsten Mal wieder! Ich geh auf jedenfall nochmal spenden

    Leider, leider hat man ja immer besseres zu tun. Schlussendlich habe ich es aber doch geschafft, mich zu einer Spende zu begeben. Vorgefunden habe ich Räume, die etwas kühler waren als die Aussenwelt und Menschen, die sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit waren. Die Nadel sass beim ersten mal und ich war nach ca. 30 Minuten schon wieder draussen und das inkl. eine Apfelwähe zu essen, die sehr lecker war. Nach dem ersten Schritt, werde ich bestimmt in 3 Monaten wieder dort aufschlagen.
