Our cozy 4-star hotel is located in the heart of Thun's old town, adjacent to the beautiful River Aare, almost beneath Thun Castle and surrounded by the magnificent Bernese Oberland. For over half a century (1972), the Krone has been a meeting place for relaxation and enjoyment. Our young, dynamic team puts its heart and soul into creating memories that last. That's why our traditional hotel and restaurant stands for shared experiences. Take your time and let yourself be inspired. In addition to 33 modern hotel rooms and 3 suites, our establishment includes a varied restaurant with two different restaurants (Grill & China), a beautiful Aare terrace, a cozy "Föndü-Hüsli" and a unique smokers' lounge. Our banquet and meeting rooms can accommodate up to 70 people.

    Great hotel. Perfect location in centre of old town, but close to the station. Great restaurants nearby. Cannot recommend too highly!

    Super kind employees, decent breakfast, good room, centrally located. Pillows weren't the best and the bed was super firm, but other than that, great experience.

    Las habitaciones 108 y 109 dan al bar de enfrente, donde hacen un ruido hasta la 1 de la mañana que con la mala insonorización de las habitaciones hizo que no pudiéramos dormir hasta tarde. Esto para un viaje de trabajo es muy inconveniente. El desayuno está bien pero tienen muy poca variedad, si vas a estar más de cuatro días se te puede hacer repetitivo. Además no tienen nada de chocolate y hay muy pocas opciones dulces, que es lo que más se suele desayunar en España. El servicio muy bien, Maricela fue muy maja

    Het start met hoe moeilijk een campervan kan gepaarkeerd worden in de buurt..niet dus maar ik heb parking ReMax genomen waar mijn campervan perfect in past op de -1 met fietsendragen incl. Dan ongeveer 500m wandelen en zo mooi kwa locatie. Ontvangst was top, service ook! Kamers zijn ok, had meer verwacht maar het een beetje aan de oude kant. Wel in orde, goed verzorgd! Eten is top!
