  We were at the restaurant and Frank served us!! He was awesome and very nice and the food was so good! The restaurant is on a very beautiful place!

  Our experience was simply wonderful. Our room with balcony overlooked the spectacular turquoise waters of Lake Brienz and our views each day were breathtaking. We were seeking peace and quiet from the bustle and more touristy town of Interlaken so we chose a nearby town of Iseltwald. From our first day, with Nicola and Sonja welcoming us at the front desk to Ursula and Z man and Frank who were our waiters each night, the hospitality was off the charts. My wife and I traveled to Switzerland for the first time and the team at the strand made our first trip to this beautiful country one to always remember. Oh…and the food was incredible. Our chef, Bob (American name for us I’m sure lol) prepared each meal with the most tasty sauces and spices that left our plates spotless after every meal. I could go on and on but you get the idea. Our rating is 5 stars plus! Highly recommend. And…free parking!

  Nach einigen Besichtigungsterminen auf einem größeren Baugrundstück in der Nähe bin ich hier spontan für ein kleines Mittagessen eingekehrt. Die Gemüsesuppe war hervorragend und wurde ebenso wie die Getränke sehr schnell serviert. Bei dem fantastischen Wetter konnte ich zudem auf der schönen Terrasse sitzen. Besonders positiv möchte ich den ausgesprochen freundlichen und ehrlichen Service hervorheben. Beim Bezahlen war ich fälschlicherweise davon ausgegangen, einen 50-Euro-Schein gegeben zu haben, tatsächlich waren es 100 Euro. Der Kellner hat mich sofort darauf aufmerksam gemacht und selbstverständlich korrekt herausgegeben. Vielen Dank dafür! Freundlich, zuvorkommend, gutes Essen und eine schöne Atmosphäre. Ich komme bei meinem nächsten Termin in der Gegend sehr gerne wieder und werde dann eines der größeren Gerichte probieren, die ebenfalls sehr ansprechend aussahen. Klare Empfehlung!

  Lovely small hotel on the very edge of the lake. Food has been excellently cooked and although it is a small menu there has always been a choice. We have a large balcony with amazing lake and mountain views, plenty of space in our room and everything we need. The staff are very friendly, chatty and helpful, also the service in the restaurant is first class. Breakfast is in a separate room overlooking the lake with good quality breads, pastries and coffee, along with cereals, granola, eggs and fresh juice. An excellent continental breakfast. Bus and lake boats stop just outside and travel to Interlaken can be done in 12 mins, dependent on bus route taken. We will stay here again, no hesitation to recommend and our ten day stay has gone so quickly!

  We dined at this restaurant as a party of two. We ordered two coffees and one portion of fish and chips to share. We politely requested two extra forks and two side plates for sharing our meal, but our reasonable request was flat‑out refused by the staff. The service attitude was very poor throughout our visit. We were disappointed with this dining experience and cannot recommend this place. 我哋二人到此餐厅用餐，点咗两杯咖啡同一份炸鱼薯条打算分住食。 我哋礼貌请求提供多两只叉同两只细碟方便分食，呢个合理嘅要求遭到店员直接拒绝。 全程服务态度很差，今次用餐体验令人失望，唔推荐呢间餐厅。
