International School of Berne (ISBerne)

The International School of Berne (ISBerne) is a private day school in Gümligen for children and teens aged 3 to 18. We welcome both local Swiss and international families. ISBerne is the only school in the Bern region offering the full International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum, including the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). We also offer a Lehrplan 21 pathway in German with English, combining the Swiss educational pathway with strong English language development. In addition, ISBerne offers a Grade 10 Bridging Year as well as English language programmes for non-students, including after-school classes and summer camps. Enrolment is possible throughout the year, and our Welcome Team supports families with a smooth transition into the school.
