We are currently staying at this hotel and booked a four night stay. We upgraded to a west wing suite. This is by far the worst suite we have ever booked, but if we have a suite I would hate to see a normal room. The room has only a small "fainting type "couch for watching TV. It only has a back on the very corner and the rest is bench type seating. VERY uncomfortable for anything much less watching TV. There is NO desk or not even a chair in the entire room. There is a huge bathtub in the bedroom. The only thing we like is the separate shower and the bed is ok. There is a balcony but it overlooks a parking area so we have not utilized the balcony.
The hotel is strangely built. You come into the hotel through Barry's restaurant which is very odd and not very practical. I do not like walking through where people are eating a meal to get to a back door where you have to then take an elevator and then walk up stairs, go through the spa and work out area, through a bar area to get to another area to take a second elevator to get to the floor our suite is on. The hotel has been pieced milled and it there is no rhyme or reason for anything. They have about 10 parking places located in their garage they will reserve for you if requested and available for about 15 chf daily. We feel the hotel is WAY over priced and wish we would have chosen something different.
We had a fabulous experience at Eiger Mountain & Soul Resort during our stay in November. The team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The location was perfect, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room faced the mountains and offered breathtaking sunrise views each morning. The complimentary mini bar was a wonderful added touch. We also enjoyed the resort’s restaurant, spa, and sauna.
The service and staff were truly amazing, and we will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful property positioned perfectly between the Grindelwald train station and tram line up to First so you are set for adventure. The rooms were spacious and breakfast was expansive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return!
This hotel was centrally located in the heart of Grindelwald- 5 mins to train/bus station, 5 min stroll from ‘First’ gondola and 2 mins to everything else. Outstanding views of Eiger indeed everything else this place has to offer. We stayed 5 nights in early May. We had two bedroom apt in Eigersunna building behind main block and it was marvellous. Staff are first rate and the MOST helpful and polite I’ve ever experienced. They went out of their way to assist. We will come back to Grindelwald in 2028 (hopefully) and will stay here again. Thank you all for making our stay so easy and immensely enjoyable. Alan
Danke euch 😁🐕🐾
