  Stopped by Storchenbäckerei Keller and tried their signature Birnentorte (CHF4.20) and Nussgipfel (CHF3.40). The Birnentorte was my favourite, a pear tart topped with smooth vanilla cream, almond slices, and a dusting of sugar powder. Very, very good and definitely worth trying. The Nussgipfel had a flaky buttery pastry with a rich nut filling inside, slightly sweet and fragrant. Fun fact: Nussgipfel is a popular Swiss pastry often compared to a nut-filled croissant, while Birnentorte is a traditional pear dessert commonly found in Swiss bakeries.

  Immer eine Freude. Besonders die Cremeschnitten und anderes Gebäck mit Creme sind einfach absolut göttlich. Die Bedienung ist professionell und freundlich. Ein Besuch in der Storchenbäckerei ist ein Muss, wenn ich mal in der Innenstadt von Bern bin.

  Die Storchenbäckerei ist kaum zu toppen. Birnentorte, Hefekranz, Truffes oder Sandwiches sind einfach himmlisch. Danke, dass es sich gibt 🙏

  Very nice bakery in Bern. I visited many of them here but this one looked the best, the most attractive, appealing, the most various choice and the best price as well. I tried "quiche" with speck which was marvellous, very tasty, juicy because of onion. Very nice service as well. You can feel good atmosphere here.
