H+ The Swiss Hospitals is the national umbrella organisation of public and private hospitals, clinics and care institutions. Its affiliates include 218 hospitals, clinics and care institutions as active members at 503 sites as well as 133 associations, authorities, institutions, companies and individuals as partner members. H+ has played a leading role in shaping the Swiss healthcare sector for more than 90 years. H+ represents its members’ interests in the political decision-making process at the federal level and raises the general public’s awareness for concerns within the sector. H+ provides support to its affiliated hospitals, clinics and care institutions in the areas of business management, occupational safety, quality, tariffs, education and digitalisation, in part with exclusive sector solutions. H+ represents health institutions with roughly 200‘000 employees. The president of H+ is the National Councillor Regine Sauter. Its director is Anne-Geneviève Bütikofer.
