English Speaking Playgroup/School

The English Speaking Playgroup/School (ESP) is situated close to the centre of Bern, the capital city of Switzerland. Founded in 1985, the ESP is a not-for-profit association (Verein) run by a committee of parents and teachers. We aim to provide a happy, stimulating and positive learning environment to develop children’s English language skills. We have classes for native or good English speakers as well as classes for children with no previous knowledge of English. We also offer private tuition in English. The ESP welcomes learners from 3 years old to adult and we also offer a weekly Parents & Tots group for the under 3s.
