studio mond is a personal yoga studio in Appenzell – a calm retreat for movement, relaxation and conscious moments away from everyday life. Through Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Yoga Nidra, we create space for mindfulness, inner balance and wellbeing in a small and welcoming atmosphere. At studio mond, you are invited to arrive, breathe deeply and take intentional time for yourself. Our classes combine flowing movement, stillness and mindful practice – sometimes dynamic and energising, sometimes soft and restorative. The focus is not on performance, but on consciously connecting body and mind. In this class, you combine the calming effects of Yin Yoga with the deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra meditation – supporting greater balance and inner peace. The first part of the class is dedicated to Yin Yoga: the postures are held for several minutes to reach the fascia, joints and deeper layers of the body. This helps release physical tension, improve flexibility and gently activate the parasympathetic nervous system – especially beneficial during stressful periods, sleep difficulties or a busy everyday life. In the second part of the class, you are guided into a Yoga Nidra meditation, drifting into a state between wakefulness and sleep. This practice supports you in letting go, finding inner clarity and restoring your energy. A class for anyone who wants to nourish the body while deeply relaxing the mind.
