  Went to this “emergency” vet when my boy cat had a urinary blockage (possibly fatal within 24-48 hours) last month, no one was there, they were closed, and all there was was a note saying they’d be back at 8 a.m. it was 9 p.m at the time. LUCKILY my cat was fine when we went to a different vet to get him checked up the next day. This place is money hungry and hardly an emergency vet. Been here 3 times, never going back. I’d rather go to Chico/live oak/or Roseville. I also have a friend they baited into getting “exams” for there cat when looking to get the cat spayed just so they can get more money. Stool sample to see if she has worms? I can tell you 100% certainty she doesn’t have worms. Ridiculous.

  I was desperate to get emergency care for my beloved 10-year-old cat, Lazarus, after he ingested medication. I drove all the way from Biggs, CA, only to find the clinic was closed with just a note on the door saying no doctor was available that night. For an emergency clinic, this lack of prior notice or alternative options was deeply disappointing and heartless. I rushed to another clinic in Chico, but sadly Lazarus died just minutes from there. This clinic seemingly cares more about money than the wellbeing of each unique and cherished animal, forgotting they are a family member not JUST a pet. I wholeheartedly believe that had they been open, Lazarus would still be here today and being I live alone and Lazarus was my only pet, this heartbreak is nearly unbearable. I cannot recommend this clinic for urgent/emergency care and urge others to seriously consider whether support for this clinic aligns with their care expectations. Heaven forbid you should ever find you pet needing emergency care.

  Absolutely awful and money hungry! We had a terrible experience here. There is a female vet there I didn’t get her name but she was just absolutely no help and was hesitant to even help my dog out and not doing what we were asking. They charged us so much money and claimed to give my dog medicine, but I am highly sure that they did nothing and just sent us out and still charging us hundreds of dollars. Terrible never come here, I’m sure they would rather let your animals die and charge you for it!
