- RNRandi NNov 24, 20251.0I brought my senior dog to this facility based on a recommendation from a veterinarian we had previously seen at Banfield in Chatsworth. My dog was in kidney failure, and although the staff attempted to help him, it became clear he needed to be euthanized. Unfortunately, my experience here was extremely upsetting and traumatic. The doctor seemed irritated with me for not bringing him in sooner, but after nearly 15 years with a pet, making that decision is incredibly difficult. I was already distraught, and the room they placed us in felt cold and unwelcoming. When the doctor administered the medication, my dog cried out, and immediately afterward I was told to leave the room and exit through the back door. I was not allowed to stay with him during his final moments, and the doctor’s approach felt cold and dismissive. Being rushed out while grieving made me feel mistreated and ashamed for being emotional. This was one of the worst experiences of my life, and to this day I can’t even drive past the facility without feeling overwhelmed. The way my dog’s passing was handled left me deeply traumatized, and I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.
- JFJustin FreemanOct 21, 20255.0I've been coming to this Veterinary Hospital on Fallbrook in West Hills for over 10 years. Some vets have come and gone but fortunately mine is still there. Doctor Herbek is a great veterinarian, but I have also seen other doctors there as well and have been very pleased every single time. I would recommend this to anybody who has a pet that's looking for a good place to take their animals for care.

- AEAllure EstheticsSep 25, 20255.0Excellent Dr and staff, Dr Herbeck was gentle and kind and my cat who normally would not let anyone just look at her teeth, and puts up quite a fight, seemed to trust him immediately and that's a sign of an experienced vet who you can tell loves animals and vice versa. Definitely recommend the staff and the clean, call facilities.
