  Dr Laura Winemiller was sooooooo great. We took our 17 year old chihuahua Iggy to see her with an urgent issue a few days ago, and we've been talking about how much we loved Dr Winemiller ever since. She was so kind and understanding, and worked out the care plan with us with so much heart and love and realism for our options. We were nervous going in, but it ended up being so seriously different than our previous vet experiences. We'll go out of our way to see Dr Winemiller for Iggy and any other pets we have going forward. VCA prices were very fair for this urgent issue, and scheduling is super easy on the website - we only ended up with Dr Winemiller because when we checked at midnight, out of all the local VCAs, she happened to have an opening listed in the AM, which meant I could avoid an urgent/emergency fee while having him seen just as quickly! Convenience alone made this visit worth it, but Dr Winemiller made it even better for us and Iggy.

  The reception staff was very nice and very welcoming. They offer a free first visit and gave Charlie (5 year old terrier) a very thorough checkup. They were a bit expensive for everything they suggested, however in an emergency this is where I will take Charlie too.

  We have a new puppy and noticed blood in his stool. I called all over the Sacramento area to find an immediate vet appointment with no luck. When I called Natomas VCA, they made an exception and got us in first thing the following morning. The staff was amazing, no wait time to be seen, and Dr. Miller showed compassion and concern for both our puppy and us. The next day, I received a follow up text from the vet tech, Natalie, checking in to see how our baby was doing. When the test results came back, I received a call from Dr. Miller informing us that our puppy had Giardia, and would need medications. My husband picked up the meds same day, and our baby is on his way to recovery. This is the best vet clinic I’ve ever been to and I highly recommend them!
