    Great experience coming in for a wellness appointment for my kitten. All the staff were incredibly kind and informative. We saw Dr. Eliot who took the time to explain recommended future vaccines and things to keep in mind for the kittens health.

    Despite the longer wait times as a result of Covid, the service at VCA in Marina is still impecable. Our veterinarian was extremely thorough in addressing our concerns, worked with us when our previous vet wouldn't send over records, and even called to follow-up on our pup's progress. Can't recommend this Vet any higher! Shout-out yo Maggie for always being pleasant :)

    The staff seemed friendly enough but, from my experience, the whole thing was very robotic. I walked into it knowing it is a chain and still it felt more like a timeshare sales pitch than a vet appointment. They kept recommending things that cost less and less each time. None of these things were necessary and all could be handled differently and more holistically. I just felt like their main goal is to sell you "treatment" instead of recommending paths at home or better practices. I prefer a vet who knows your pets name and loves them almost as much as you do. Maybe I won't find that Aloha here in LA but hopefully I can find something better than this place. I will not be returning. PS I am seeing a lot of similar experiences in the reviews below.
