They were supposed to have a item transferred from pleasant hill to vallejo and the guy transferred it from pleasant hill to pleasant hill. Told me they would hold the item up to 6 days since I work all week and would not have a chance to come back until 6 days later. Home delivery not an option either. When I came to pick up the item the cashier didn't listen to me and got defensive when I corrected her saying it was supposed to be delivered to pleasant hill. I could have bought this item anywhere else for 20 to 30 dollars less but thought I'll give a little business to best buy and would be easy. Nope, I shopped with best buy for over 20 year. I will remember this before I rethink doing any business with best buy and suggest anybody else take their business to a company that cares enough for their guest to honor their commitment. I'd give them zero stars if I could.

Today, I am called an hour after my appointment that I won't be able to have an install because my purchase is not in store. I am also told I will not be able to have installation or pick up my purchase until after the holidays. Called the "customer service" number and have and have been transferred 5 times. They read a script. Completely useless.
- BDBernie DDec 12, 20252.0JJ was an associate I had to deal with today around 9:35pm; he gave huge attitude about getting an item in the back (which was there). Then kept trying to upsell me on a more expensive model I kept saying was out of my budget. When I didn’t play into his harsh pushy upsell JJ tried to imply that I was going to steal. My guy I just asked the courteous cashier to update my email and # on my best buy account to unlock my app. If it wasn’t for the lovely cashier, forsure a 1 star experience (wish I got her name to compliment her professionalism). I work customer service, JJ was garbage and a net negative to Best Buy Vallejo’s bottomline. JJ reminds me of why associates will be replaced w/ robots+kiosks. Who wants to deal with associates like JJ. The lack of work ethic and professionalism is really obvious these days.
