I attempted to purchase an item in store but was required to place an order for shipment instead. The delivery driver failed to deliver the item and provided no communication or explanation. Best Buy’s customer service has been unhelpful in resolving the issue and has repeatedly delayed any meaningful action.
It has now been a week since I placed the order, and I still do not have a confirmed delivery date. I have contacted customer service multiple times and even requested that the item be sent to my local store for pickup however, I was again told I would need to wait an additional 24 hours.
This experience has been extremely frustrating. I would recommend saving yourself the trouble and ordering elsewhere. Unfortunately, Best Buy’s service has significantly declined.

I bought a laptop and a membership to have the Geek Squad transfer my data. On making the appointment over the phone, I was told it would be ready in a couple hours. Made an appointment to bring in my data and my old laptop. When I got there, was told it would be a couple days, which was a surprise. The next day, I tried to call the Geek Squad to see if they had one of the discs for a program I wanted installed. Was impossible to get past the stupid phone menu. Couldn't even dial an extension number when prompted. When I finally managed to get to someone on the Geek Squad, the person on the phone couldn't tell me anything. He took a message and said I would get a call back in the next couple hours. No call. Tried the next day probably 10 calls before I got a real person. She told me to try a certain extension. I asked her to transfer me because I couldn't get through to do this. She insisted she was unable to transfer at all. After multiple tries, I was able to leave a message asking a manager to call me. Of course, I never received a call.
What kind of bogus operation is this that customers can't get through on the TELEPHONE??? I mean, this is NOT rocket science! Do I trust the Geek Squad if their management can't even respond to phone calls or the company can't get a phone system that functions???
I did manage to get my computers by the deadline I was facing. We're supposed to get 24/7 tech support with this $180 membership but what good is it if you can't get through on the damn phone?
