I brought my cat Fluffy here for a life-threatening urinary blockage and was told he would need sedation, a catheter, and overnight hospitalization. I paid $1,040 expecting proper monitoring and overnight care because that’s what I was under the impression I was already paying for. I was so shocked to get the call only a FEW hours later saying he was ready to be picked up. The invoice still listed hospitalization and catheter care. He was also sent home without antibiotics only pain meds to mask the problem. He was still blocked when I picked him up. Over the next two days he became even more lethargic. I had to rush him to another clinic where they confirmed he was still obstructed and THEY hospitalized him for two nights with proper treatment for only $900!! The other place was incredible. Meanwhile the VCA was a nightmare for me. Fluffy only recovered after receiving the care he should have received in the first place. I paid over $1,000 for incomplete care and every time I contacted them and emailed they ignored me. ZERO STARS. They robbed me.

I had an appointment for my dog to get his teeth cleaning done and was told to bring him at 8 am. I arrived at clinic at 8 am and clinic was closed ( regular hours beginning at 9 am, per sign). I waited until I saw any staff inside of clinic, at about 8:40 am a staff member , Jennifer, opened the door and said clinic does not open until 9 am. I told her that I was told to bring my dog at 8 am, and I also have the confirmation email also said drop off at 8 am. She was very rude and repeated , “ no that’s incorrect “ . She was not apologetic at all, just very rude. I will not be coming back to this clinic .

My dog had been suffering since may with vomiting and gagging. the end of May we took him in and they kept him overnight, xray stomach, bloodwork, released him the next day saying that they had no idea what it was, maybe a bacterial infection. By beginning of September his gagging continued but was worse, throwing up consistently and drooling so we took him back, hoping they could find why this kept happening. again bloodwork and an ex ray abdomen, lost 6 pounds. nothing "remarkable" found. But told us we should take him for an abdominal ultrasound to Ontario VCA. We picked him up from Central VCA and Rocky wasn;t feeling well still, but the paperwork said he was "improving"? we asked the tech for the ultrasound referral...we wanted to go right away. she was rude and told us that there were way more critical patients than Rocky and that we would get an email sometime and couldnt guarantee when. I called immediately when we got home and demanded it be emailed. i called the Ontario VCA that Central VCArecommended, ready to take Rocky in because he was suffering, drooling, not able to hold his head up. We called to let them know we were coming because Rocky was getting worse. We arrived to the ONTARIO VCA , Rocky was all checked in, but they refused to see us because he wasn't "critical" even though he was suffocating and choking to death. They point us to ANOTHER VET...that turned out to be amazing. Inland Valley Veterinary. By 4 AM, Rocky was finally admitted. The vets IMMEDIATELY knew it was his throat, not stomach. x rayed his THROAT, and there was a 5 inch baseball size tumor suffocating our dear Rocky. We gathered our kids and put our boy down with the most amazing vet at INLAND VALLEY VETERINARY. HEY VCA - YOU MISSED 6 MONTHS OF A SUFFERING ANIMAL and LET HIM SUFFER, SUFFOCATING.
