Thank you so much to Dr. Fein and her amazing team for the care they provided to Nala! Initially I called to get information and received great patient service from Amanda, who provided answers to all the questions I had. When I followed up for more information, Caitlyn also did an amazing job answering all my questions and helped me get the process started to bring in Nala. Upon arrival to the VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists office I was very kindly greeted and checked-in by Ofelia. Ofelia was amazing and super welcoming after a drive in heavy rain. Very shortly after, Taylor came from the back office to bring Nala, my mom, and myself into a room. Taylor did amazing in regards to taking notes regarding Nala's symptoms to provide to Dr. Fein. Taylor patiently heard my summary, asked questions to clarify, and answered all the questions I had before moving on to take Nala to the back office to check vitals and get an abdominal ultra sound. A few minutes after I had finished filling out the new patient paper work while waiting for Nala, Dr. Fein came in to explain her observation and analysis of Nala's medical history and her current examination. Thank you for taking care of Nala, VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists!

Everyone from the front staff to vet techs and the Veterinarian were great on our visit. Our dogs back hips suddenly stopped working and he was unable to get up, along with an odd breathing pattern. We took him in on a busy Friday afternoon by the time we got there his hips were at least better he could walk on his own but was so slow. They took him to to back quickly. The vet tech had great communication and told us it would be a while due to a dire emergency case that just came in. The Vet finally came in and gave some updates on his vitals. She also did had a very thorough conversation about our dogs medical history. Through this conversation, time, and research she uncovered an issue with medications he was prescribed by our local vet. We are so grateful that at the end of a long day our visit was treated with absolute respect and we figured out what was wrong.
I cannot imagine working at an emergency vet hospital is easy, we are so thankful for everyone who helped us at VCA.

I want to deeply thank you for looking over my cat Bella, she was in a severe condition and I had already lost all hope since she was severely ill with the fip virus and she showed me all the signs were that she was going to die but you guys showed me otherwise... I'm deeply thankful and grateful for all your veterinarians' hard work and consistency..if my cat could talk she would've also thanked you all so much for helping her heal from her condition and how she's really happy that she's back with her family and siblings... and we're still going on with her treatment of fip virus.. once again I'd like to deeply thank everyone that helped my cat come back to me and her home

Their facility seems to be good. But very expensive and suggesting too much - that was my feeling, I had to wonder this is really all the treatment my dog needs. I went to my regular vet, and My regular vet says they didn’t even give my dog IV fluids. They said they did, but it was the skin one.

Our cat, Duke, was very sick and ultimately we had to put the poor guy to sleep yesterday. It was not a great day but the staff was so supportive and compassionate, which in that moment was priceless. Special thanks to all of you guys! As far as the clinic itself, it's top notch. I felt like it's a mini human state-of-the-art emergency room! Anyways, great place, great service, and most of all, great staff. Special thanks to the Dr on staff.
