- AGAnselmy GarciaDec 24, 20251.0I had a very frustrating experience with Best Buy / Geek Squad in Tracy. I went there for an iPhone replacement and was given a phone that was previously linked to a hospital/enterprise account, which caused multiple problems. Apple later confirmed that the phone was not properly set up and that Best Buy should have handled this correctly from the beginning. Because of this mistake, I had to waste time, make multiple trips, spend money on gas, and deal with unnecessary stress. Geek Squad told me they would call me back to follow up and never did. What made this even worse is that they said they could not do anything to fix the issue and told me to personally contact the hospital so they could repair or remove the account from the phone, which is completely unreasonable. In the end, Apple was the only one who helped resolve the issue, which shows that going directly to Apple is a much better option. Best Buy did not take responsibility and instead pushed the problem onto the customer. I do not recommend Geek Squad at this location for phone replacements. If you value your time and peace of mind, go straight to Apple.

They rejected checking in my device and announced its vintage where I wont find battery anywhere except apple store. This was completely misguidance as several other service centers were happy to take my device in , including serviceware pleasaonton, where I ultimately serviced it
