  Was denied returning my laptop due to " excessive returns". At first I was confused on hearing this and them telling me my account has been flagged as excessive returns when I never had this issue before returning 10 items. I spoke to the Best Buy return and service department and told me " Based on everything you shared, there should be no issues returning or exchanging the laptop. Using it for a few hours to test performance is fully reasonable, and the concerns you outlined, especially related to heat, noise, performance, and overall value, are valid reasons for a return. As we discussed earlier, there is no restocking fee for laptops and having all accessories and packaging in place helps ensure a smooth return process. You're making a well-informed choice, and we'll make sure this is handled properly so you can move forward without issues ". They let me know this store only flagged me internally in their store which is odd. I had another person say I needed to pay 15% restock fee but the return specialist said no. The specialist let me know I'm more than welcome to go to any store to return my laptop which I won't do business here anymore and have reported this incident.

  Nick went above and beyond to help us choose the right phone, even though the store had technically already closed about six minutes earlier. He never rushed us and made sure we felt comfortable taking our time to find exactly what we needed. He was attentive, thorough, and checked in on every detail to make sure everything was perfect. I had gotten off work very late, and the fact that he still took the time to help and support me meant so much. I truly appreciate his patience and dedication. I highly recommend asking for Nick if you visit the Best Buy in Sherman Oaks—the team should be proud to have someone like him. 10/10 experience!

  I went into the store in Sherman Oaks and a pushy salesperson convinced me to apply for a credit card which I didn't really want. I told him I would probably be declined because I am not currently working. He said it didn't matter -- if I had good credit it would be approved. Then he took all of my personal information, including my SS#. Of course my application was declined. When I got home I got a message from my bank that my credit score went down four points as a result of this decline. THE SALESPERSON SHOULD NOT BE PRESSURING PEOPLE TO OPEN A CREDIT CARD. HE SHOULD NOT LIE AND STATE IT WOULD BE APPROVED WHEN IT WAS NOT. HE IS NOT QUALIFIED TO GIVE OUT FINANCIAL ADVICE AND HE IS UNAWARE, OR UNCONCERNED, about Best Buy's criteria for approval. He does not care how the application's decline effects people's lifes. The sales people at Best Buy are money hounds and do not care about customers in the least. I will never shop there again.
