  Had terrible experience of a unknowledgeable Geek Squad representative in Santa Rosa, Ca. Problem with a stuck power off button on cell phone. It ended up being a simple fix with a button replacement at $62.00. He said there was no option to retrieve info from phone if he could not get it to home screen. I was going to lose all data on this phone. He never told me I could get a switch replaced which would have been a simple answer and cost. He said that it would take $6000 to get any info off phone. What a derogatory jerk he turned out to be along with his stupidity. I was lucky enough to go to Samsung support and get the location of a helpful repair shop. Watch out for a character with long black hair an beard. More like the Creep Squad

  Called in advance to try to get my computer repaired (I just need a fan replaced). Guy on the phone told me to just come on in and drop it off with the replacement part. On their website it clearly shows they offer hardware installations/replacements. In person though, they told me I could either send it out to god knows where with a turn around time of 3-6 weeks or go somewhere else. For replacing a FAN. Had I known their job was just to scam technologically illiterate people into buying their “training” I wouldn’t have come. What a useless group of people, will not be recommending to anyone.
