  Talley inflates Shipping cost I was in the market for a Larsen antenna. I'm a diligent and careful buyer. I always check price and location and reviews. Price alone isn't the determining factor. Talley had a great price on an antenna I wanted but totally obscured shipping cost through the entire buying process, even after the sale was finalized. The package weighed all of 2 lbs., with the box’s dimensions being 24" X 4.5” X 4.5" After they got my credit card number and everything was done, Talley emailed the receipt where I found out Talley charged me $27 to ship ground UPS. That really ticked me off. After the package arrived, I called my local shipping agent I do business with here in Spokane and obtained what cost a regular Joe Blow, with no account, would be to ship that to the same place it came from, now remember, places like Talley with an account pay far less than the consumer pays to ship, but my cost was $22! That means Talley hid shipping cost from the consumer then charged that consumer an inflated shipping price. That is a very shady business practice. Obviously, Talley does that because for a large company, they make significant revenue but it’s a very shady business practice. I did call them and advise them of my sincere displeasure where the person on the phone offered me a discount on my next purchase, which means Talley is going to continue this shady practice. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE SHIPPING COSTS BECAUSE TALLEY INFLATES THE ACTUAL PRICE TO THE PURCHASER.
