  Came on and bought a group 24 deep cycle for a dump trailer. Went home and battery was dead. Employee said they were closing so bring it back tomorrow. Brought it back and still needed to be charged. No discount, no credit for wasting my time and labor when I run a business. Well this replacement one lasted 2 year and it’s bad. Called and no prorations and 1 year warranty. Corporate reached out and told me to bring the battery to George at SFS location. While the battery wasn’t replaced for free (didn’t expect it), he did provide a significant price reduction which was supposedly at cost. Lesson learned, only speak to George as he is the one who can fix issues. I appreciate the help and did raise the review due to the business making an effort.

  Title: Frustrating Experience with Warranty Denial Despite Ongoing Battery Issues This is my first time writing a review, and I wish it were under better circumstances. I purchased a car battery from Powerstride on 09/06/24. Just six months later, on 03/12/24, I started having trouble starting my engine. I took my car back to Powerstride the next day (03/13/24), and they told me it wasn’t the battery. Over the next two months, I continued having issues starting my engine, bringing the car to repair shops multiple times. This morning, after a short five-minute drive, a mechanic tested the battery and found it was reading only 12.37 volts. That’s considered low for a battery that’s less than a year old — a healthy, fully charged battery should read between 12.6 and 12.9 volts. Thinking this was clearly a warranty issue, my wife drove 20 miles from Los Angeles to Powerstride (after staying overnight at my mom’s). She even showed them a photo of the 12.37-volt reading. But because their own test showed 12.87 volts after that long drive, they refused to honor the warranty. To say we’re disappointed is an understatement. We’ve dealt with persistent battery issues for over two months, yet Powerstride wouldn’t take responsibility. A warranty should protect customers in exactly this kind of situation — instead, it felt like we were brushed off with a convenient excuse. I hope this review helps others be cautious before relying on this business for battery replacements or service.
