Dr. Siek has been our veterinarian from the very beginning of her time there, and there are no words to express how grateful we are for her. She has loved and cared for our dogs—Bassa, Lilo, Archie, and now our newest little one, Kona—with the same tenderness and devotion she would give her own. That kind of trust is rare, and it means everything. And her team… they are truly extraordinary. Alex, Anita, Francisco (who has been with us since the Tender Care days!), Kelly, Kate, Brooke, and Laurel ❤️ —every single one of them has shown so much compassion, patience, and genuine heart. I’ve interacted with each of them, and their kindness has left a lasting impression on us and our pets. They don’t just care for animals—they care for the people who love them, too. To have a group of humans who show up every day with such love and dedication is a gift. We are incredibly lucky to have them. I trust them all completely, and I recommend them with my whole heart.

The techs are gentle and caring. The doctors are knowledgable and very informative. They give me options for care and always take my opinions into consideration. Highly recommend!
- SMShawn Davis MooneyAug 9, 20251.0I visited this VCA last December upon moving to San Rafael from Santa Rosa (where my pet has always had her doctor and not a VCA btw!) for an exam and a rabies vaccination. Basically I didn't want to drive to Santa Rosa. My December visit was awful, the doctor was rather rude and didn't listen to me, etc so I have since went back to our old Veterinarians. Well, my baby came due for her exam and vaccinations again. I thought, let me try VCA once more, again not wanting to drive to Santa Rosa. I've already canceled the appointment and decided to make the drive. Why you ask? Well the VCA doctor called me to drill me about if my pet had been seen elsewhere since our last visit and where. I told her that I had her vaccination records and could get her anything else. She refused and insisted she call our regular doctor. Like I'm trying to get something over on them. It made me extremely uncomfortable. I feel that you can talk to me about my pet and her needs. The doctor was also very condescending. So, I canceled the appointment and will gladly make the 36 minute drive everytime now. There are many choices in the area, make a good one!!!
