  I love VCA! I was able to get my dog, Motor, in fast for his skin allergy flare up. He was miserable. The doctor started him on allergy medication. He received the injection that day. He was better immediately. Almost no more scratching or chewing on himself. THAT DAY! Not only had he been miserable but he was making ME miserable too. We were both able to finally get some sleep. Everyone was so nice to Motor. Thank you again VCA!!! ❤️❤️❤️

  We started going to VCA San Mateo about six months ago when we adopted our puppy, and overall we've had a great experience. The medical director, Dr. Bolich, is wonderful. She's incredibly smart, compassionate, and genuinely cares about the animals she treats. Even though she's very busy, she always makes herself available and takes the time to listen and make sure I feel comfortable with what's being recommended for our little pup. I really appreciate that she's open to feedback and easy to talk to. I trust her advice and also think she's just a really cool person. The office staff is also great. They're kind, friendly, and usually try to to get back to me quickly. I've only met one of the other vets, Dr. Becker, but she was also fantastic. Highly recommend!

  VCA, on short notice and with excellent care, took our kitty PK in for vaccines we hadn't realized expired. We were really in a pinch because we had a vacation that day but wasn't aware multiple vaccines of his had just expired! They were extremely accomidating and even followed up to check on our little fella after. Thanks VCA!

  I took my dog in for veterinary care and asked questions about various cost estimates. The veterinarian Dr. Becker wouldn't even discuss it with me. It was obvious she knew things were expensive, and she couldn't care less. She sent in the business manager with cost estimates, which were very high. I could tell the business manager felt bad about it, but Dr. Becker did not care. I obtained more reasonable prices and better care elsewhere.

  I have nothing but good things to say about this place. My 8-year-old border collie had some gastrointestinal issue, and I was trying to look for a place nearby. Found this clinic and decided to take him here. All the staff here were friendly. Dr. Becker gave some very helpful advice and recommendations. The charges were very reasonable. They have their own parking lot, so parking was not an issue. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking quality service.
