    Store was clean and had good selection and prices. My only complaint is that there were not very many employees to help out. Once we finally found one, he was helpful. It's been about 5 years since I've been in a Best Buy. I would go back again, but would like to see employees to help out.

    I rated my experience a 2 ONLY because I was greeted at the door with a "hello and welcome" and ONLY for that reason. Otherwise it would be a BIG zero!!! I went in looking to purchase a phone and get info about new phones and the sales person was at the register finishing with another and once done I made myself known that I was looking at phones by walking around and interesting in reading information about the products and so on. As a sales person, one should ask if I needed help or anything but no... he decided talking sports with a co-worker was more important. So I decided I didn't need to spend my money. Simply done.

    Terrible communication and helpfulness. I asked several employees where hard drives were and they just pointed at the back wall. Failed to communicate where they are. Then I ask another employee where they actually are because I couldn’t find them and then he takes me over to them and they’re behind Glass then just walks away then I find another employee that actually was able to get keys for the Glass so I can purchase the $300 hard drive. It took three employees just to find the item I was looking for so I can buy it . This is proof of how in-store retailers are going to fail e-commerce is the future and I’m not sure how Best Buy will survive the next 10 years that they have three employees to just purchase one thing. Overall, I think I would only come back when I need something in a pinch. At least give them one star because they did have what I was looking for.

    I would take a look at the multitude of reviews and beware this Best Buy. Highlights include: incompetence, general malaise and disdain for customers, failure to adhere to policy or fulfill agreements, the sheer volume of returns crammed into tiny boxes improperly should have been my warning. Instead I got treated to the most frustrating, unfulfilling, and outright difficult buying experiencein months. This process could have been incredibly simple, but instead it was an experience not even worthy of a second star.

    Frustrating trade-in experience at Best Buy San Marcos. I ordered AirPods Pro 3 for same-day pickup and brought my 1st-gen AirPods Pro to trade in. After a long wait, the offer dropped from $30 to $19.50 because I “didn’t have a charger,” even though AirPods come with a charging case, not a wall charger—which I had. Then I was told I had to give a fingerprint to complete the trade-in. I refused and canceled the order. What should’ve taken 5 minutes took nearly an hour. I’ll stick with Amazon next time; Best Buy will be a last resort.
