    Terrible experience at the Oakridge Apple Store. I’d suggest going to Valley Fair or another location instead. The staff at the Genius Bar seemed poorly trained — they claimed my phone’s logic board was fried, mentioned unrelated issues, and couldn’t fix the problem after running diagnostics. Later, I found out it was just a simple battery issue. They really need better training.

    Terrible customer service all around from employees to management. I waited for hours for someone to notice me. Got connected to Genius Bar after 2 hours that’s not so genius and wasted our time. Jacob was very rude when asked what took them so long and his response is you can go elsewhere. How did he become a supervisor lead? The guy should be fired. If he doesn’t know how to talk to customer he shouldn’t be in retail. I refuse to give them my business. They all need to get their act together.

    I had the most unpleasant experience ever at Oakridge mall just like many customers have had for the same reasons. Disrespectful, rude, hostile environment, inappropriate behavior and incompetence. I should have known better from my first visit. I never come to this mall. I was nearby for a work event. Today experience was worse beyond. Jacob who claims to be a manager was pure rude, hostile and tries to use his power to threaten me with security. He took the advantage that f it being closing time and no one was around to talk down at me and use his power to belittle and harassed me. At this point I was unhappy and want to void the sale and he made it hard for me to do so. Also he tried to make me leave without getting my data. I was told he’s the lead supervisor so I try asking for his manager and he keeps saying he’s the manager and refused for me to talk to Victor who I was told is the manager. I ask if this is how he treats his customer by threats and bullying when he can’t solve problems. He continues to harass and got security surrounding me. I was very stressed because my data was on the phone. I wanted to make sure nothing was on it before I leave. It appears there’s so many complaints about the staffs and managers at this store. I hope people read all the reviews before shopping here. I will never buy anything here again. I want to return my iPhone 17 and get my money back. It was such a disappointing experience with the staff drying my first visit. a Middle East guy (I forgot his name) but he has curly hair who had such an ego yet so incompetent and wasted my time for a several hours on the same matter with data. He couldn’t figure duplicates when I showed him duplicates and they call him a tech genius. This has to be a joke. Tim Cook I hope you get someone to do an investigation at Apple Oakridge Mall location in San Jose with all the complaints and zero stars but we are forced to give 1 star. Apple seriously need to watch the camera and listen in on how Jacob, who claims to be the manager talks to his customers. I addressed the issues and he just dismissed it. So rude. When questioned why he ignored my concerns, he made excuses saying they are closed and said I need you to leave the store otherwise he’ll get security to force me to leave. If I was not so tired I loved for him to have security forced me out bc I simply didn’t do anything wrong but try to get my data before returning the new 17 phone they just charged me. He also took my bag and receipt and didn’t let me check it. I had to ask for my belongings back and he was so rude at that too. I shouldn’t have to approach and find Victor after making many requests, but I did. When I approached Victor to do a return he too refused to look up my Apple ID and/or email like other typical Apple Store do. The lack of respect, customer service and professionalism was concerning. When I asked about why my data didn’t completely transfer to my new phone, instead of offering help or trying to troubleshoot, he simply said, “We’re closed now.” It felt like he didn’t know how to address the issue and used his position to dismiss the situation. When I requested to do a return, he refused to assist or even look up my Apple ID because I didn’t have a receipt—when all along they had it in the bag he took. I had told him apple staffs have looked up Apple ID and/or look up the apple serial number before to look for receipts. He claimed I need a physical receipt and that they don’t do look up which I know is not true for Apple returns. He also attempted to intimidate me again and again with harassment by threatening to call security rather than resolving the issue properly. This experience left me feeling disrespected, frustrated and stressful. Theres too much going on in the world already and Apple needs to hire and train those with knowledge, love, respect and kindness. I hope this matter is reviewed seriously so other customers don’t experience the same treatment over and over again.

    Very bad and poor customer experiences here. my iPhone 16 Pro Max got broken ( both the back glass and the metal panel, and you can even see the chips through the broken panel) And my AppleCare plus is effective one year more so I came into the store to ask can I get a replacement. But the stuff did not even take my phone and check it, directly said I cannot get a replacement; instead, I was told the only option I have is to wait three or four hours in person at the store, even I told him I have another appointment two hours later. I might re-consider whether Apple and Apple Care are still worthy and reliable in the future.

    My experience at the Oakridge Genius bar yesterday where I had to transfer data from my old Apple SE to my new 17 ProMax was so great and easy that I actually had so much fun being there. This is due to my first 2 technicians Sean and Jervie who took over when Sean had to leave for his computer and engineering classes. Sean even knew just how to transfer my hearing aids over & easily transfer 30 apps over wthout resetting anything on my phone. Jervie helped me add my face instead of having to use my passcode all the time, added camera control, using visual intelligence, & customizde the action button, & the lock button, She transferred my Apple Care & helped me decide on the best case and screen protector. JC took over & helped me set up my text messaging. These 3 amazingly talented technicians made this a great experience. This Apple Store really rocks!
