Kinda lean staffing, hard to find someone to help you.
That being said, I got excellent customer service at the pickup counter.
I hadn't ordered anything but I asked if I could order on the spot & they totally took care of me.

After a few really rough retail experiences lately, walking into Best Buy San Francisco was such a relief. I ended up picking up the ASUS ROG Flow Z13, and Alex — the main computer specialist there — was absolutely outstanding.
He was incredibly knowledgeable, explained the processor differences clearly, and made sure I understood what I was getting. What really stood out was that he genuinely tried to save us money by recommending open-box options instead of just upselling. That level of honesty and expertise is rare.
Huge shoutout to Alex for the amazing service. He made the entire experience smooth, stress-free, and actually enjoyable. Thank you!

RUDE, IMPATIENT, UNPROFESSIONAL
I purchased a brand-new, sealed $70.60 PS5 game disc online and picked it up from this Best Buy, and it did not work at all. I went back to the store to request an exchange or replacement.
The customer service experience was extremely rude and impatient. I was told they would not accept any unsealed game discs, claimed it was store policy, and told me not to argue “for no reason.” I was then given a corporate customer support number, which ultimately said they could not help without further communication.
This was a very frustrating experience. I will not return to this store to purchase products again if this is the level of customer service—rude, impatient, and unprofessional.

Unfortunately, I got extremely bad experience with this store. Empty store, a lot of assistants around and everyone just hiding from help. I want to buy another Starlink for company, that's it. Usually takes me about 5-10 minutes. This time I had to wait on a checkout to ask a guy from there about assistance. He said he will call someone as "everyone is busy". Spotted couple of workers around busy on their phones but no one who actually came to help me. So bad.

I am a loyal customer of this branch’s Geek Squad. They have helped me tremendously over the years. However, the last time I went there to have my desktop repaired, they erased all my files, including pictures and videos of my deceased father.
When I complained, they shamelessly tried to convince me that there had been no files on my machine. They then offered to perform a deep recovery process, which they said would take a few days. After the deep recovery, they claimed to have “recovered” some of my files. In reality, none of the recovered files would open; they were corrupted and lost forever.
The Geek Squad employee then asked me to sign a document stating that my machine had been repaired to my satisfaction. Of course, I refused and took my machine to leave. At that point, that horrible excuse for a human being had the audacity to call security on me—for taking my own machine home after they had ruined my files.
This was very, very wrong and completely inappropriate on all levels.
