I had to take my 15 year old dog here in the middle of the night for an emergency euthanasia. My wife and I both went. They put my dog on a gurney and wheeled him away making both of us stay at the receptionist desk filling out paperwork. I wanted to be with my dog comforting him during the whole procedure but wasn’t allowed. Once the paperwork was done they led me into a waiting room. I waited and waited. There was a button to push if you needed help. I pushed it several times and got no response. After about 15 minutes I called them with my cell phone and asked what’s happening and why I’m not with my dog. The receptionist said that she would get someone to help me. After about another 5 minutes someone came in and said they’d bring my dog in shortly. About another 5 minutes and they wheeled him in. By then he was so sedated I didn’t think he even knew I was there. He had gone deft and blind in his old age but his sniffer still worked great. I held my hand in front of his nose to let him smell me, but nothing happened. Nothing. He was very out of it do to begin sedated. My hope was to be with him the whole time so he knew I was there for him. But no, paperwork is more important. I was there approximately 30 minutes before being allowed to be with him, by then he didn’t even know I was there. My wife could have filled out the paperwork while I was allowed to be with him. I couldn’t have been more disappointed!! Not professional at all in my opinion and certainly not compassionate.

Astronomical charges - taking advantage of people in a tough spot with their pet. What a racket. Go elsewhere.

We were SO relieved to have this VCA Animal Hospital open on a Sunday to help us with a scary situation. We were camping 40 mins away when our dog started acting super out of it/strange/lethargic. We rushed to VCA and called on our way. They were sympathetic and they texted us intake forms to fill out on the drive so when we got there they could process us quickly. The facility is very clean and up to date. They clearly told us what needed to happen every step of the way as they checked our dog. We did have a long wait time in between these different steps, but that was okay--there were some urgent animals that came while we were waiting (car accident) so we understood. The vet (forget his name) was EXCELLENT. Despite all the urgent other cases, he took his time with us, explained everything to us clearly, and we felt very supported. Turns out our dog ate a THC product somehow and despite him knowing that she would be fine, he took a long time answering all of our questions and continuing to assess our dog. They ended up giving her a hydration IV and the Vet Tech worked with us and our dog as she was very nervous and let us stay in the room with her to help, which we appreciated. The cost wasn't bad at all, and we left feeling really good about how everything turned out. Highly recommend this animal hospital!

I recently had to have my dog taken here due to an emergency while we were out of town. Unfortunately things took a turn for the worse and we ultimately had to put our dog down. While the situation is heartbreaking Dr. Kelly and her staff were nothing short of amazing. They kept me informed of everything and gave us a lot of options. They were very transparent about pricing. They were also very caring and compassionate. They sent a card a few days after in the mail sending their condolences which I thought was very thoughtful. While I don’t wish this situation on any pet owner I would highly recommend Dr. Kelly and her staff. Thank you for being so caring for both us and for our dog. Thank you for assisting him over the rainbow bridge.

Took my cat in because he was lethargic, and had wet breathing. The staff was so kind to me and my kitty. They took him back right away to get his vitals. I had to wait a bit- usual for any emergency room human or pet. The vet took her time to explain my options and what would be best for my wallet and cat. Very happy with my visit.
