On 11/16/25, I added a new line to my account, and I was incorrectly charged twice for the activation fee — a total of $80. I paid $40 in cash at the store, and another $40 was charged to my account. I am requesting a refund for the duplicate activation charge. I also asked the store representative how much one line would cost, and he told me $30. I agreed to that amount. However, additional charges were added without my knowledge, and the total for the line became $110.72. This was never explained to me beforehand. I feel very disappointed with both the phone customer service and the store experience. The representative at the store, David Jacobson, made me feel misled, and the charges were not presented clearly. Please review my account, correct the billing errors, and issue the appropriate refund as soon as possible. Here are the charges that appeared: One-time charges & credits: $69.40 Unlimited Welcome (additional charge): $18.00 Activation fee: $40.00 (plus another $40.00 paid in cash at the store) Verizon Mobile Protect: $11.40 Plan fee: $5.00 Unlimited Welcome (another $40.00 charge): $40.00 Total: $223.80 This is completely different from what I was told. When I asked the store representative about the cost of adding one line, he told me $30, and I agreed. None of the extra fees listed above were explained to me. Additionally, I was charged the activation fee twice — once in cash at the store and again on my account. I am requesting an immediate review and refund for the duplicate activation charge and any unauthorized add-ons.

Tyler knows his sheet. Transferring to a new phone is never easy but he worked through everything patiently.

Shady Business practices. Just went in to purchase a new phone. I confirmed with them that the phone was actually in stock and not a preorder. They confirmed they had it on hand in the back. I’m trying to get a new phone before an out of state trip I’m taking next week. I was told repeatedly that they would not sell me the phone unless I purchased a basket of unnecessary accessories that I did not need. Initially it was just a couple of the items, it then became all of the items. I was then told that they do not allow people to purchase phones outright and are they required us to finance them. This doesn’t make any sense other than they must get some financial kickback from this. I asked to speak with a manager and was denied because he was “in a meeting”. All of this after my appointment wasn’t honored and I was skipped over by someone else who walked in after me. I can only imagine what other shady account adjustments they had planned for me. Do not do business here.
