Caroline the receptionist is awesome! Helped us get an emergency prescription refill when our rover lost our dogs meds. She was very helpful and empathetic to our situation.

Max had a painful ear infection, and his regular VCA in Hillcrest couldn’t see him due to no available appointments. The team at VCA Bay Park took him in last minute and treated him right away, even during a very busy holiday season. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and most importantly, my Max is happy and recovering really well.
Thank you so much to the entire team!

Staff was rude needs retraining or just new staff entirely would be great. Don’t recommend unless you want to be yelled at and called a liar.

I took my newly adopted cat to the Bay Park Veterinary Clinic for an examination a few months ago however, nearly three years had passed since I was last there. For some reason or another, guite a few of the old staff - whom I once knew - had left and I heard that Dr.Roper was semi-retired. They also have a new member of their team, Dr. Porterfield.
Dr.Roper, the veterinarian who first opened the clinic - it used to be on Morena Blvd. - has acquired some of the most advanced technological and laboratory equipment available and he has had quite a few decades of medical experience ; the two other veterinarians on their team also have decades of veterinary experience between them.
As veterinary surgeons, their skills are unsurpassed and all are very well known throughout the San Diego area; they have also won a number of awards - over the years - based on their compassion, polished therapeutic skills, and upon their superb treatment of the animals that their caretakers brought to them for examinations and recovery.
The veterinarian with whom I was the most familiar with, was Dr.Roper. He was my veterinarian for many years; another veterinarian, Dr.Humerus has been Dr. Roper's partner for years.
I did use Bay Park Veterinary Hospital one last time, as stated at the beginning of this review but - due to past experiences _ with my the last three of my beloved cats Boris, Cleo and Marguerite - and a cruel family misunderstanding, I'll always believe that I was blamed for things happened that were beyond my control. If I had become successful, I would have opened a small "board and care cat clinic" for people who travelled long distance or just took short trips.
I heard that the Bay Park Veterinary Clinic is now under new management and that it is still one of the best clinics in San Diego, therefore I can only base this review on past experiences, as well as the information that I have amassed by questioning others.
My departure was extremely emotional and chances are, that I may delete it from my Maps reviews in the near future. I also accidentally infused a review of the County of San Diego Animal Shelter - with Bay Park's review, due to a state of unhappiness and confusion : The Animal Shelter must have been desperate to adopt out a cat. I'm not going to tell their story, yet apparently there is a big difference between an employee and a volunteer.
I've been around some of those whom I thought were the best and some of the worst and the only memories that I had left were either stolen or all burned up in a fire. It all reminds me of the social media and those who have "followers."
I have no "followers" and I "follow" no one.
