Don’t buy AppleCare. It doesn’t cover what they tell you it covers. I’ve been paying for AppleCare. I just went in because I was having a problem and although the people were nice, they said that’s not true what the other salesman told me who sold me the AppleCare when I would have to pay. I feel ripped off.

This was the first Apple Store I ever visited many years ago, and it is just as good today as it was then. As a thriller author, a YouTuber, and a musician, I’ve used Apple products for more than twenty years.
The nice part about this store is that it’s a different retail experience. You interact directly with a clerk. There is no self-checkout here, which I prefer. Being in Fashion Valley, the experience is upscale.
I loved how the sales associate was able to explain the pros and cons of purchasing a phone outright versus leasing it from a cell phone provider. It helped me make a solid decision.
Great staff as always.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at the Fashion Valley Apple Store was so bad that I feel like I have to warn others.
I went in originally because my iPhone (which I bought in August so basically brand new) was making a strange vibrating noise. After running diagnostics, the tech told me the microphone kept failing tests and would likely need to be replaced. Fine, no problem I scheduled a repair and came back today to get that taken care of.
When I dropped it off, the employee told me they were replacing the speakers. I reminded her that it was the microphone that needed fixing, and she assured me both would be taken care of and to come back in about an hour.
An hour later, I come back only to be told it’ll be another 12 minutes because they found a new problem with the phone. The “new problem”? The microphone needed to be replaced. Exactly what I had already told them, and what was clearly in the notes from the original appointment.
I waited the 12 minutes, came back then was told to wait another 20 minutes. Came back again, was told the phone was ready, but still had to sit around for another 30 minutes before someone finally brought it out.
And after all that over two and a half hours of running around the mall and waiting I was told the microphone replacement failed and that I’d have to send in my phone and be without it for 3-5 business days. So after wasting my entire afternoon, I left with the exact same problem I came in with and no real solution.
For a company that prides itself on customer service and premium products, this was absolutely unacceptable. The communication was disorganized, the repair process was chaotic, and the staff seemed completely out of sync. I left feeling ignored, frustrated, and honestly, insulted.
If you value your time or sanity, I’d seriously think twice before bringing your device here.

I had two iPhones I wanted to trade in when I bought the new iPhone. I called the store twice to confirm that they could accept them before driving all the way there. They said yes and had already added them to the notes.
When I arrived, the store was chaotic. Four people approached me, but since I wasn’t buying (I had purchased the phone online because it wasn’t in stock), none of them helped. They simply sent me to the next person, and the final answer for my situation was that they couldn’t trade in two phones.
Everyone was rude and uncommunicative. They only told me that they could give me a gift card, which I expressed that I didn’t want to purchase because I had already made my purchase. They told me they couldn’t make an exception, so I decided to trade in one of my phones.
After waiting for them to send me another person to help me, she was trying to process the order when she told me that she couldn’t do that because I had made the purchase online and would have to send the phone with the box they had sent me, and I should contact the customer service for them to help me because I have told them that I don’t have the box anymore since they told me I can bring the phones to the store.
All of this was for nothing. No one apologized, and no one was nice. All what they told me was just to call the customer service (including the rude manager who told me oh believe me we will not be going back and forth with this. This is what I’m telling you and that’s all. Since I told him that, why am I explaining myself so many times to you and you keep giving me the same answer when I have confirmed with you over the phone that this will be done in the store)
I’m very disappointed after spending thousands of dollars on iPhones. This is how they handle the situation.

Had an issue with my phone and went to them, they told me that I had an issue with the logic board of my iPhone 14 Pro Max which I had bought very recently and brand new back in 2023, I was quoted $700 for the logic board alone without the actual repair time and tax, so I took my iPhone to several different stores in which they all told me one thing, there was an issue with my battery, I had them fix the battery and the phone works perfectly fine now, and guess what, I paid $131 for the repair plus the time it took to repair it, I urge people to not come here for iPhone repairs as they WILL try and scam you.
