  We have a new puppy and are new to the pet world. I first went to another Vet and really did not like them. Tried this clinic for our second visit well check and loved it. So professional, thorough, clean paperwork, detailed communication, nice environment and friendly staff.

  I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Stanton Veterinary in San Carlos, and I feel truly grateful to have found a veterinarian who cares so deeply about the animals he treats. I brought my dog Ollie in for a cherry eye issue, and from the moment we arrived, Dr. Stanton was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough. He took the time to explain exactly what was going on, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with every step of the process. You can immediately tell that he genuinely cares about the well-being of the animals and the families who love them. One thing I especially appreciated was how transparent he is about costs. He clearly explained the pricing upfront so there were no surprises, which I think every pet owner can appreciate. His pricing is very fair and reasonable, and the level of care he provides is outstanding. Ollie is doing great, and I’m so thankful for the thoughtful care he received. Experiences like this make such a difference when you’re trusting someone with a beloved pet. I have two dogs—a 14-pound Chihuahua/King Charles mix and an 11-year-old Black Lab/German Shepherd—and after this experience, I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. It means so much to have a veterinarian you can truly trust with your animals. If you are looking for a compassionate, honest, and skilled veterinarian in the San Carlos area, I highly recommend Dr. Stanton Veterinary. Thank you again, Dr. Stanton, for taking such great care of Ollie.

  Some of the most wholesome, knowledgeable, and passionate vets and vet techs I’ve met. They never try to have unnecessary tests done to squeeze money out of you and they genuinely care about your pets.

  I have a 5lb dog and they want to charge $95 to trim her nails that is robbery!!!!! That is a $20 service!! I would never come here

  Very underwhelmed with this vet -- working on switching. Took my cat here for a panting issue and they tried to pressure me to get an expensive heartworm test right after dropping the news that she might have a terminal heart condition. I went to a specialist at SAGE and found out from them that there is no treatment for heartworm in cats, so the test would have been pointless. The only positive point of this place was it was conveniently to schedule appointments through their app. However, recently even that has been problematic -- they let me book an appointment on a day they were closed.
