I had a really frustrating experience at this vet clinic and wanted to share in case it helps others.
I had a scheduled appointment at 12 PM and didn’t end up seeing the vet for over 2 hours. I understand things can run behind, but there was little communication or acknowledgment of the delay, which made it more frustrating.
While the veterinarian themselves was kind and professional, the overall experience was disappointing. The techs seemed disorganized and unfamiliar with my dog’s case—even though I had been there just a few days prior. It felt like no one had reviewed the notes or understood why we were coming back, which led to a lot of repeated explanations on my end.
I also felt pressured into additional testing that wasn’t clearly explained or aligned with my concerns, and there were surprise fees added that were not included in the original estimate. Transparency and communication around costs is really important, and that piece was lacking.
Overall, the visit felt rushed, disorganized, and not very client-focused. I hope the clinic works on better communication, coordination, and respect for clients’ time.

Seem relatively ok, but greedy. How can you get an exam at a VCA hospital and they refuse to use the records from the out of town VCA, insisting on a new exam ? Thats borderline animal abuse to put the dog under another unnecessary anesthesia and associated stress. Also, what's the point of joining a corporate network if your services don't connect from one vet to another in the chain of vets?

Edit: They also attempt to rage bait you and invalidate your experience after they provide absolute minimal care to your pet then blame your review on you being emotional when it’s simple math that they provide the absolute least possible support for $1500. See their reply below.
Original comment: I had a devastating experience at this veterinary clinic and feel other pet owners deserve to know what happened before bringing their animals here.
I brought my cat in for suspected urinary issues and was told he had a urinary blockage. I was initially quoted about $4,000 for treatment that included unblocking him and keeping him hospitalized for 48 hours. Unfortunately I could not afford that cost. After discussing options, we agreed on a reduced treatment estimate of about $1,500.
What I believed I was paying for was treatment to relieve the blockage and for my cat to be monitored for at least the remainder of the day since I could not afford overnight hospitalization.
Instead, the catheter was left in for about one hour.
The catheter was placed around 1:00 PM, and by roughly 2:15 PM I received a call saying he was ready to go home. Anyone familiar with feline urinary blockages knows that immediate reblocking is a major risk, which is exactly what happened. My cat reblocked shortly after and ultimately had to be euthanized.
What I cannot understand is how the original $4,000 estimate covered 48 hours of hospitalization, but $1,500 resulted in only about one hour of monitoring. Based on their own numbers, that pricing difference should have represented a significant amount of care time. Instead, it felt like the bare minimum was done before sending him home.
I was never under the impression that my cat would receive only an hour of treatment and observation before discharge. I would have expected at least several hours of monitoring or care through the end of the business day given the amount I paid.
This experience was not only heartbreaking but also extremely frustrating. When you are in a crisis situation with your pet, you trust the veterinary team to provide reasonable care and clear expectations about what treatment will actually look like.
I hope this clinic reexamines how they communicate treatment plans and how partial care options are handled, because no pet owner should walk away from a situation like this feeling that their animal received only minimal care despite paying a significant amount.
The veterinarian involved in my cat’s case was Dr. Jenna Ogden.

We came here on an emergency basis. Our pug was seizing for more than an hour and we wanted some to help her cross, everywhere we called or went only would stabilize her. She was gone already but wouldn't stop seizing. We love this vet hospital.the staff ran out to get her for us.
