  Disappointed with Geek Squad’s Consultation Service I scheduled a consultation for my camera, which was displaying a lens error. When booking the appointment, I included this issue in the notes, as instructed. The confirmation stated that I should bring my camera and charger for troubleshooting before determining the cost. However, once I arrived, the experience was disappointing. The staff member I interacted with made no effort to assess my camera. She simply told me there was nothing they could do and sent me on my way—without even attempting any troubleshooting. The lack of effort and support made the entire process a waste of time. I expected a more professional and helpful approach, especially since I followed all the instructions. If Geek Squad offers consultations, they should at least try to evaluate the issue rather than dismiss customers without any real assistance. Would not recommend if you're looking for actual troubleshooting before deciding on repairs.

  I don’t recommend, it seems like they don’t really know what there doing, but I went in to take my camera and long story short wasted my time, because when I went in they said they don’t fix cameras, and she knew on the appointment that it was a camera, so why didn’t they cancel my appointment before I went, them already knowing it was a camera? So basically the lady said there isn’t anything for them to do! Then I went back in and they offered a wasteful solution, like I thought you said there isn’t anything you could do? But in conclusion wouldn’t go back, really was a waste of time don’t recommend.

  Use to bring computers to geek squad for repairs by walk ins. Now they will only see you if you make a appointment, effectively requiring customers to jump through hoops to get help. I ended up just buying the windows 10 startup disk so I never have to bring computers here again. Other than that, it is a great place to buy software and devices.
