- MSMadison SchillerMar 26, 20261.0They heard my dog screaming in pain and still told me to wait hours. My family dog was likely having a stroke and was in severe distress. We called Crestwood Vet while this was happening, and they could hear her crying and screaming in the background. The only reason we were calling was to bring her in to be put down and end her suffering. Despite that, we were told they could not see us for several hours because they were in a staff meeting. That is an eternity when an animal is suffering like that. This wasn’t a routine visit or something that could wait. This was an obvious emergency and a situation where compassion should come first. Instead, it felt like scheduling and internal priorities mattered more than relieving an animal’s pain. I would strongly reconsider relying on this clinic, especially in an emergency. No pet owner should have to feel this helpless when their animal is clearly suffering.
