Please do not take your emergency animal issues here. My mother in law took her senior dog for a wellness check. He was lethargic. So they brought him infor an emergency visit. The issues were explained. The vet said he was not suffering put fluid under the skin amd gave them $300 dollars worth of meds. Not to lemtion the front desk staff is rude and very ignorant about thier payment processes. It is advertised thru vca's numerous locations they take scratch pay. The front office staff is not traimed on how to do it. My opinion they just try to charge a payment option that cannot have a stop payment due to the negligence. This is a disgusting practice. So we were not happy with the service so we scheduled a visit with our normal vet for a second opinion on wed morning. since saturday after giving the treatments that vca approved and prescribed he started on a steady decline after giving the medications they prescribed. He did not have labored breathing and was not suffering per vca. That changed drastically WITHIN 8 HOURS OF GIVING MEDICATION and last night 3 days later he passed away. I have realized vca just tried to gouge people when they are at thier most vulnerable. Thier patients are our children. When we bring our loved ones in all they see is a wallet and try to charge as much as possible. PLEASE IF YOU NEED CARE GO TO ANY OTHER VET CLINIC. ANY OTHER. THIER BEDSIDE MANNER IS HORRIBLE AND THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY KICK YOU OUT TO LET YOUR ANIMALS DIE. THIS FACILITY NEEDS TO BE PURGED. This clinic is notoriously dubious and unethical. After speaking to numerous past customers all I have heard is that the front desk staff is the ignorant and meam to all patients. Especially seniors who bring thier companions in for emergency getting accused of thuer pets eating thier meds. Im rambling just FURIOUS. IF YOU HAVE HAD ANY ISSUES PLEASE BYPASS THE CLINIC AND CALL THE VCA CORPORATE OFFICE SO THIS GETS FIXED!

Emergency front office staff were rude, with no knowledge of how to run the financial aspect of payment costing a senior citizen hundreds in interest rates on a credit card vs scratchpay. 2 days later the dog is doing just as bad if not worse, $1100 later. Got an appointment at Anderson Vet for Wednesday for a 2nd opinion on his quality of life. The er front staff absolutely terrible but apparently "she" works Mondays as well because when I called to explain she once again had no clue and was rude and offered no further assistance. A complete rip off of people in urgent need.

I’ve been a customer of this vet for three years. Two years ago my dog was prescribed a monthly edible which I found far less effective for my dog than a competitor version of flea control. I discontinued use of the new med and resumed the med which was more effective and equally safe if not more so. As I was a care plan member the undesired med was represcribed by a vet I’ve never seen without my consent and filed with their mail service pharmacy and my credit card was charged outside of my knowledge. I was then told that because the medication was in my possession it could not be returned as it was unlawful and could be tainted. So I was stuck with the bill for their error. Their solution was that I could “donate” the meds to them and they could give it to people who could not afford it…..but HOW WOULD THAT SUDDENLY MAKE IT SAFE AND UNTAINTED? They were completely unwilling to even apologize for their employee’s error in not reading my dog’s file, and recognizing that my dog wasn’t on the medication before “renewing” it. I wouldn’t recommend this vet as they don’t care at all about people’s needs and it is people who are their Customers.
